* Found these USE flags for app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.25: (2) Make gpg-agent work so that ssh-add does not freeze. (1) Disable the -enable-ssh-support flag for gpg-agent (but I do not know where this is set) I can think of two possible solutions (but I do not know how I should do):
I cannot switch to wicd, since it does not work satisfactory, but I have tried it. The problem is that gpg-agent is needed for gnome-extra/nm-applet, which I need to manage my networking (obviously). I did not have this problem when I used the ordinary ssh-agent from net-misc/openssh. Like thisĮnter passphrase for /home/kalle/.ssh/id_rsa: Īfter that ssh-add freezes (and does not exit). I use ssh-add to avoid writing my password each and every time I wish to update one of my git repositories, but when gpg-agent (from app-crypt/gnupg) runs (with the flag -enable-ssh-support, I assume) ssh-add freezes when I enter the correct passphrase.
